Meet Caspar and walk the Middle Path

I noticed that some of the other participants at AJC had named their camel. I didnt want to be rude and now name mine. I mean, I am sure he wouldnt like it much if I just called him "Hey You". So Husband and I sat down to find the perfect name for my camel. We tried several different names, but none really fit. Until I looked at a site for Persian names. Caspar! Love the name. And in Persian it means Guardian of the Treasure. The treasure being me and my sanity. So what do you think? Isnt that just the perfect name?

The other night I was reading a little in Teachings of the Buddha and it reminded me about the Middle Path. Thought I should make a layout. I saw it in my mind exactly how I wanted it, but it didnt quite turn out as I saw it. Mainly because I couldnt find an image of a tightrope walker that suited me completely. I did find one eventually that I liked, but it wasnt what I had envisioned. So I had to change things a little to accommodate the image. I still think it turned out nicely.

And the Fish Said Nothing!

I am reading a book called The Faithful Spy by Alex Berenson. It is pretty good. In one of the previous chapters the main character, John Wells, gets bored in his small apartment and decides to go out.

"Wells rolled his neck, an old habit. Sulking in herewith his dying fish wasn't doing him any good. He headed for the door. "Sorry, Lucy," he said, looking at the tank. "Sorry, Ricky. But at least you've still got each other."
And the fish said nothing."

I dont know what it is about this, but I liked that last sentence LOL. So figured I should make a layout.
